Ah, Valentine’s Day. It can be the sweetest day of the year, full of chocolate, stuffed animals, fancy dinners, and, of course, true love.
But we’re not always so lucky. Sometimes the pressure to have a perfect day turns everything sour, and your whole plan goes up in smoke.
Those years when Valentine’s Day turned out to be a real bummer are the ones we all have to look back upon and just laugh at. What else are we to do? Who knows, maybe that one date that your boyfriend dropped the ball on was the final straw you needed to realize he didn’t deserve you. Or maybe it was just a funny story you can both laugh about together!
